Solar and battery upgrade

In March 2023 we doubled the size of our solar PV and battery system. This gives us a lot more resilience to overcome the power outages that continue in South Africa.

Solar output is now 8 Kw with 35 Killowatt hours of storage.

All of our daytime usage is now powered by the sun and we can run for hours on our battery at night.
